Unscrew the plate from the outlet and switch box. (It is always recommended to paint walls prior to installing plates).
- Remove outlet or switch guards from package.
- Fold both sides of the pre-scored cover and snap-it on to the device. (If you need to turn light on or off or plug in a tool or lamp, you can easily remove the cover and re-install).
- After painting is complete, remove the outlet and switch guards and place in a re-sealable bag for future use.
- They may be washed with warm water and liquid soap for re-use.
Warning: Always use extreme caution when working near electrical devices. Make sure to wear eye protection. Do not install or remove when hands or covers are wet. | |
