Unscrew the plate from the outlet or switch box. (It is always recommended to paint or wallpaper walls prior to installing plates).
- Remove new universal "Easy Snap"™ paint guards™ from package.
- Snap the paint guards™ cover on to the device. Paint Guards™ are designed to fit on residential & commercial toggle switches. If the cover does not fit properly, turn it upside down and snap-on. (If you need to turn light on or off or plug in a tool or lamp, you can easily remove the cover and re-install).
- After painting is complete, remove paint guards™ and place in the resealable supplied Seal-Lock bag or Box for future use.
- Any number of paint guards™ can be used on Multi-gang outlet or switch boxes.
- Paint Guards™ may be trimmed if they do not have a 100% fit or they overlap.
- Paint Guards™ may be washed with warm water and liquid soap for re-use.
Warning: Always use extreme caution when working near electrical devices. Make sure to wear eye protection. Do not install or remove when hands or covers are wet.
